We are a small-sized chapter comprised of Affable, Keen, and Altruistic professionals and educators located in the Notable North Atlantic Region – Cluster III of Alpha Kappa Alpha with focus on Dutchess, Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster Counties of Mid-Hudson Valley, New York. AKA is a globally, impactful organization committed “to be supreme in service to all mankind.”

Iota Alpha Omega Chapter 2019
On Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the Eisenhower, Hall Theatre, West Point Iota Alpha Omega Chapter & The Mid-Hudson Ivy Foundation celebrated 50 years of scholarship and service. We also recognized the accomplishments of Chef Brandon Walker, Dr. A.J. Williams-Myers, Grace Smith House and Boys & Girls Clubs Newburgh / Poughkeepsie.
2019 Honorees
Our 2019 Gala included a seated dinner, entertainment from Comedian Tiffini Thrower, The John Bates Band and Party Art Productions Caricaturist. Gala proceeds to benefit our community programs, high school scholarships, and United States Military West Point Cadets.
