Welcome to the official website and virtual home of the Iota Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ®. On behalf of the members of our chapter, it is an honor and a pleasure to greet you as Chapter President. This year, Iota Alpha Omega is proudly celebrating 55 years of service to the Mid-Hudson Valley region.
Since our chartering in 1969, we have worked tirelessly to implement programs to meet the needs of the residents of these beautiful and picturesque Dutchess, Orange, and Ulster New York State counties. Guided by the vision, purpose and mission of our illustrious sorority, Iota Alpha Omega has dedicated itself to continuing the legacy of service to all mankind.
Under the leadership of our International President, Danette Anthony Reed, we are Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood by executing programs in the following areas:
